VISION
To be a leading company in the new era of MRI devices applied to the dental field.
The company has technology developed entirely in-house for the creation of high-impact MRI systems.
Our innovation is based in 3 pillars:
- The development of lightweight systems that can obtain local images cheaply.
- Ability to see soft and hard tissues (such as bones or teeth).
- Time to get immediate results (real time).

Our target is offering a new range of tools for the Dental image, promoting and optimising magnetic resonance imaging applications.
Problem
All dental clinics use X-rays. But X-rays are an ionising radiation: this limits the number of images and requires special installations and control. Also, X-rays do not image soft tissue.
Problems with current X-ray based technology include:
- Growing appreciation in the scientific community that increased dental X-ray use, especially in kids, increases the likelihood of cancer.
- Significant overhead incurred by dental professionals in conforming to government regulations concerning ionising radiation.
- Inadequate diagnostic information provided by dental X-rays about soft tissues (e.g., root structures).
- Inadequate anatomic information provided by dental X-rays about the soft tissues of mouth and jaw, crucial in implant procedures.

Solution
Our systems are to compete with panoramic X-ray and cone-beam X-ray CT (Computerized Tomography) systems. Based on an ultra-fast technology licensed to Tesoro Imaging, our system is:
- Radiation-free and low-cost magnetic resonance scanner designed for dental imaging, replacing the current standard based on potentially harmful X-ray technologies.
- Safe for use with kids and pregnant women.
- Dental MRI provides clinicians with enhanced anatomical and functional information.
- The MRI scanner will allow to obtain HD hard and soft tissue images, enhancing the diagnostic and planning capabilities of dental professionals.
- No special installations or government supervision is required.
- This device is optimal for mobile dental care.
Some of our ongoing work includes:
- Design new technologies magnet design.
- Design of new high efficiency strength gradient coils.
- Development of ultra fast high frequency pulse sequences.
- 3D Magnet and Coils printed using additive manufacturing techniques.
